I am a youngster in my 60s since leaving school at the age of 15. Ive had many occupations, starting on the Railways during steam days working on the footplate, I loved it, and the days didnt seem to last long enough but Dieselization brought it all to a miserable end! I became and industrial butterfly. Having various occupations including being a professional musician for many years, learnt the guitar at the age of 17 when I started playing for beer in smoke filled pubs and clubs, they were always full of great characters that created a tremendous atmosphere always going home with a buzz, looking forward to the next session then disaster! All brought to an abrupt halt by new labour and their spiteful smoking ban which was not even in their manifesto. I was a labour voter but no more! New labour are nothing but a bunch of anti-smoking, child killing (Iraq) war criminals and hypocrites, and yes I am a smoker, and only happy playing my guitar when I have a pint and ashtray by my side, new labour decided to use legislation instead of Ventilation killing pub and club life for thousands of entertainers, musicians, mainly in my peer group and unknown numbers of the general public. I am also a motorist and motorcyclist riding a Yamaha YZF sports. I am as agile now as I was in my youth and just as sharp so it aint the fags! I am determined not to let them get away with it without a fight. Dont let hypocrites walk all over you.
